Dear Paul,
I have found my implant treatment to be really "life changing". Prior to the procedure I could never imagine that I would be able to once again enjoy eating food such as a steak, corn on the cob, apples etc, now I am able to happily eat those sort of food items as a matter of course and enjoy the full taste of food again. Overall I have found it to be a quality of life enhancing experience.
With Kind Regards,
C.A.
Dear Paul,
My own teeth, a partial plate and later a full denture, shared equally in giving me discomfort, problems and cost.
Having a sensitive plate and high gag factor, I persisted with some denture retention problems, some worsening the problem.
Finally I abandoned the denture and conscious of no teeth became socially reclusive. Eating with only 7 bottom teeth caused digestive and jaw cartilidge problems, the latter being tender and inflamed, the inflamation extending to the ears.
There was only one answer, Implants. I really regretted not listening to sound professional advice at denture time, and would have enjoyed a marvellous facility much longer.
There wasn't anything to implant fitting, have had a lot more trouble with extractions. With implants digestive problems corrected immediately, slowly and completely, so did cartiledge inflamation. Due to diligence with care there hasn't been one post operative problem. Implants are a marvellous transforming facility.
Yours faithfully,
J.C.

Hello Paul
Here are a few words to say how glad I am that I decided to have all my teeth replaced with implants. The decision toook a little while to make but I am rewarded with teeeth that feel like natural teeth, perform as natural teeth, and look really good.
People tell me that they don't look false and look like attractive natural teeth. For the period that I had to make do with upper false teethand had to use the goo to more or less hold them in place I fouind that i was very restricted in foods that I could eat satisfactorily, had lost taste sensations, couldn't rely on the 'teeth' staying put and looked awful when I took them out to clean.
I believe that the cost was really, really wroth it and could not now imagine living with any other option.
Kind Regards
J.C.
Dear Paul,
So; what can I say about implant dentistry is that it provides the only real alternative to your own teeth if you are faced with not being able to retain your own teeth. You could even argue I guess that what I have now is actually better than the real thing. Certainly the implant dentistry that I have had done has restored full use of my teeth and i'm no longer having to be careful about the foods I eat. In this way it has added to my enjoyment and quality of life.
The decision I made has resulted in a hugely improved situation for me and I'm able to enjoy and appreciate that. I guess there is one thing I would say if some were to ask me about my experience, and that is to be sure to work with medical professionals who know what they are doing and have the necessary skills and experience. I've been fortunate enough to be in the hands of professionals whilst this work has been undertaken, consequently the outcome is a positive one for me.
Kind Regards
A.C
Dear Paul,
What can I say about implants? Well, they have certainly changed the way I see myself & they were indeed worth every $$$ I spent on them. I can smile now without being horribly aware of gaps in my teeth due to having several of them extracted over the years.
My worst fear was of always having to wear a plate in my mouth if I wished to hide the gaps, but thanks to implants there are now no gaps. It is the same as having all my own teeth back again. No 'plate' slipping in my mouth, no feeling of discomfort, simply a full complement of teeth. At no stage do I need to be careful of what I eat as the implants manage everything, just as normal teeth do.
It's great to be able to laugh & smile without feeling embarrased.
Yours Sincerely
R.O
Testimonial
The decision I made to have dental implants replace my dentures was not an easy one. It took several years of agonising over whether or not I would be a suitable patient., after having lost all my natural teeth some thirty-five years prior, and aslo waht the overall investment might be worth to me.
It is almost three years since my first consultation with Paul Morris of Grey Street Dental Surgery. Paul is the consummate professional. He explained everything to me very clearly as to what the procedure involved. It is now eighteen months on since the completion of the transplant procedure and I must say what a wonderful experience it has been for me. I now have the ability to eat a decent steak or apple properly, oral hygiene is much easier to maintain than before. An also, and just as importantly, I have developed a much greater level of personal confidence.
Many thanks to Paul and his staff, Oral Surgeon Bruce Murdock and to the medical staff at Aorangi Hospital for making me feel at ease during my implant procedure.
Yours truly,
B.J.
Dear Paul
Regarding my full bridge implants, top and lower.
All teeth removed November 2004, NOVUM implant lower insterint in the same operation and six posts inserted in top with top denture which I had to tolerate for nine months.
I know now that I put up with my own teeth for too long.
Since I have had both top and bottom bridges completed I can truthfully say that if I had the option of having dentures and a good new car (the extra cost of the implants) or an old dunga car and the implantsit would be not contest in favour of the implants.
I eat three times everyday and now it's a pleasure every time and I can eat anything. It used to be a trial. The efficiency, health benefits, taste and comfort cannot be compared.
Yours faithfully,
B.S.
